Beginning Monday, Sept. 8, the Clark County School District’s homework assistance program, Homework Hotline, will go live for the 2014-15 school year.

Some Clark County School District students may be eligible for free or reduced price meals depending on family size and income as part of the National School Lunch/Breakfast Program which provides nutritious meals every school day for eligible students at participating elementary, middle/junior high, and high schools.

The Clark County School District will welcome 2,000 new teachers to our schools for the 2014-15 school year. This is welcome news for a district forced to cut hundreds of millions of dollars from its budget since 2007.

|Voting in the June 10 primary election
If you are registered to vote in the Primary Election, Tuesday, June 10, you should have received a sample ballot from the Clark County Election Department.
If you cannot find your sample ballot, you can check the county’s election website to see if you are registered and to find your polling location.

Desert Research Institute has developed the Nevada Integrated Climate and Evapotranspiration Network, NICE Net, which is a weather station network measuring weather variables to assess climate and reference evapotranspiration across the state of Nevada.
