responds to the changing needs of the growing Las Vegas community.
The organization expanded its programs and refined service delivery systems to better serve the poor, the homeless and those in crisis who come to us as a place of last resort.HELP of Southern Nevada
is calling for volunteers to assist with a number of programs this holiday season.

HELP of Southern Nevada assists families and individuals throughout Southern Nevada to overcome barriers and attain self-sufficiency through direct services, training and referral to community resources.
Your help and support of our programs and services will ensure that our mission is carried forth and that we can help people help themselves by connecting them to services, training and referrals they need to be successful and self-sufficient.
Nov. 1 to 13 and Nov. 27 to Dec. 10
Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Assist clients with their applications for holiday programs at HELP’s main campus (1640 E. Flamingo) to ensure that all areas of the form are completed.
Nov. 15 to 17
6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Assist in receiving donated Thanksgiving turkeys at several locations to be announced soon. Turkeys will be given to over 1,200 families in need throughout Southern Nevada.
Nov. 19 to 20
7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Assist clients in receiving their Thanksgiving feast at HELP’s main campus (1640 E. Flamingo).
Adopt-A-Family Drop Off
Dec. 13 to Dec. 16
8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Assist in receiving holiday gifts for selected clients from donors at HELP’s main campus (1640 E. Flamingo).
7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Assist in distributing holiday gifts to selected clients at HELP’s main campus (1640 E. Flamingo).
14th Annual Chet Buchanan & The Morning Zoo Toy Drive
Nov. 29 at 8 a.m. to Dec. 10 at 10 a.m.
All hours during the drive
Assist in receiving and sorting donated toys at NV Energy (6226 W. Sahara).
Dec. 18 to Dec. 20
7:15 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Act as a personal shopper and assist clients with picking out toys for their children at HELP’s main campus (1640 E. Flamingo).
