Find out if your moving expenses are deductible

Are you on the move? And is your relocation job related? If so, you could get a tax break from the Internal Revenue Service.

Certain moving expenses are tax-deductible, as long as you meet some requirements.

There are rules on distance and how long you have to work at the new job.

Deductible expenses include transportation and lodging, packing, crating, and moving your household items, and connecting or disconnecting utilities.
