Nevada Unemployment phone lines and websites

The Department of Employment, Training & Rehabilitation consists of divisions that offer assistance in job training and placement, vocational rehabilitation, workplace discrimination and in collecting and analyzing workforce and economic data.

The Telephone Claim Centers will be open on Saturday, September 14 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. For callers on the telephone queue by 1 p.m., the call center will take the call. ESD will backdate all late claims.

Office Hours: Monday – Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

New calls are not accepted after 4 p.m.; all calls will be assisted if you contact the Call Center by 4 p.m.

Call Center will have reduced staff on the listed dates: 
  • Northern Nevada -- (775) 684-0350
  • Southern Nevada -- (702) 486-0350
  • Rural Nevada & Out-of-State -- (888) 890-8211
To better serve its clients, DETR has added two additional phone numbers, which are available from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., for weekly claim filing.
