Choice for Clark County Sheriff down to Lombardo, Burns

LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3) -- The big races in November are now set after residents hit the polls for today's primary election.

One of the biggest races on the ballot is the race for Clark County sheriff.

The top two candidates advance to November.

Sheriff Doug Gillespie's pick, assistant sheriff Joe Lombardo, will move on to the general election.

Joining him this November is retired Captain Larry Burns.

Retired assistant sheriff Ted Moody finished third.
