Clark County coroner identifies two homicide victims

LAS VEGAS (KSNV -- Two men killed in shootings on Thursday have been identified by the Clark County coroner's office.

Both shootings have been ruled homicides by medical examiners.

Las Vegas resident Otis Turner Coleman III, 20, was killed early Thursday morning at an apartment complex on North Las Vegas Boulevard in North Las Vegas.

North Las Vegas homicide detectives said evidence suggests Coleman was shot in the common area of the complex. He was transported to UMC Trauma and later died from a wound to the left lower back.

Later in the day, Las Vegas resident Damario Berry, 20,was shot about 3:45 p.m. on Curran Way near Owens and H streets. He later died at UMC Trauma.

Police continue to investigate both shootings. Anybody with information can remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555.
