LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3) -- After the bombing at the Boston marathon many law enforcement agencies are re-evaluating security and first response.

It's an unfortunate reality that scenes like what you see here, can happen anywhere.

That's why the head of the downtown Las Vegas Rangers -- a concierge service for Fremont East -- is training his people to handle a disaster whether natural or man-made.

News 3's Elizabeth Donatelli is at 7th Street, across from what will be container park, with a look into this training you'll see only on KSNV News 3.

The Downtown Rangers are not law enforcers, but because their job requires them to walk Fremont East, chances are they could be the first people on scene of a man-made or natural disaster.

The two dozen ambassadors met with a pair of Air Force instructors who volunteered their time to simulate a mass casualty situation.

In this case, a 'bomb' went off with multiple victims.
