HENDERSON, Nev. (KSNV & MyNews3) -- The family of a 23-year old woman shot to death in Henderson is looking for answers.

Henderson police tell News 3 the man who fired the gun claims it was all an accident.

It doesn’t seem like the family of 23-year-old Cherish Pincombe is buying the gunman's story explaining how Pincombe was shot to death.

The arrest report lays out what happen Tuesday morning in Henderson.

The Henderson police report depicts a night of five people having a fun night.

The report says Pincombe arrived at a home in Henderson Monday night.

Thats where she met up with the murder suspect, 22-year old Colin Lowrey and his three other roommates. The group all watched a movie and there was drinking involved.

Later on as night turned to morning police say Lowery and Pincombe logged on to, a video chat site. Investigators say the two started chatting with a woman from Norway.

The woman asked if anyone had guns and that’s when Lowrey pulled out his .45 caliber gun and a rifle. He showed it to the woman he was chatting with.

He cleaned it and claimed the magazine was out of the gun. A little later the report goes on to say Lowrey left his gun on a desk.

He told police he thought Pincombe picked it up -- but when he came back it was in the same place he left it. Shortly Lowrey claims Pincombe told him to point the gun to her head.

He did and that’s when he pulled the trigger and shote Pincombe who later died at a hospital.

News 3 spoke to some family members of the victim. They say there still coming to grips on what happened. They mentioned Lowrey's account may be far-fetched.
