HENDERSON (KSNV -- New details have emerged in the arrest of a local high school teacher accused of having an improper physical relationship with a 15-year old student.

Amanda Brennan, 24, was arrested on Friday by Clark County School District police on two counts of luring a child and one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

According to a police report the teenager’s parents became suspicious when he told them he was going to the movies with friends they didn't know.

When the parents realized their son's teacher picked him up that night they told school police.

The report says both the teen and Brennan told officers that they were in love but did nothing more than kiss. Brennan has been placed on administrative leave by Clark County School District.
