LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- It's been months since a tragic hit and run accident that left 6-year-old Brazyl Ward in a coma, fighting for her life because of a careless Halloween driver. But today, something her parents are calling a holiday miracle: Brazyl is headed to rehab.

The little girl has undergone countless surgeries, including an operation on her skull and just last week, she finally opened her eyes. While she faces many months at the rehab facility, her family is hopeful she will show improvement.

Brazyl was hit outside a neighborhood church near Tenaya and Peace Way. The speeding driver still has not been found.

Some witnesses have described the car as a Silver Volkswagen Jetta. If you know anything, call crime stoppers at 385-5555. You can remain anonymous.
