LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3) -- Should Las Vegas City Hall and city employees star in a reality TV show?

News 3's Mackenzie Warren talked to one city council member who will be voting no.

This is on Wednesday's agenda and the discussion could be as dramatic as a reality TV show.

Las Vegas councilman Bob Coffin says he will be a definite no.

Coffin says it's not appropriate for the city council and city employees to star in a reality TV show.

Coffin worries producers will twist the truth and get in the way of the work of the Las Vegas community.

Some local entities have gone the reality show route like Metro who has been featured on the show "cops".

“Well maybe that's for the cops but we have to behave a little differently,” Coffin said. “We're not fueled by testosterone. We're trying to use our brains and I really think if we start to showboat or put each other down. I can guarantee you the members of the council will be prompted to spice it up a little bit. ... That's not worth it to me. I’m not going to vote for this.”

Council members will take up the reality show pitch at Wednesday's council meeting. If it passes, the production company is offering $5,000 an episode if a network picks up the show.
