Man in red cap attempted to rob store, left without cash

LAS VEGAS -- Metro police are looking for a man who tried to rob a convenience store near Sahara and Industrial on November 5.

The suspect entered the business around 11:40 a.m. and went to the back of the store to get a fountain drink.

He then approached the counter and demanded money from the clerk while reaching behind his back. The suspect did not receive any money and fled in a cream colored, 4-door car.

The suspect is described as a white male in his twenties, 5-foot-6 and weighing 160 pounds with blond hair, blue eyes and facial hair. He was last seen wearing a red cap, dark shirt, blue jeans and glasses.

Metro has released photos and video of the suspect holding a fountain drink.
