LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) -- One adult was displaced in a house fire Saturday morning that caused an estimated $25,000 in damage to a east valley residence.
The Clark County Fire Department responded about 8:10 a.m. to a fire at 5055 McLeod Drive.
The first arriving firefighters reported heavy smoke and flame and initiated a quick fire attack, according to a news release from the department.
Two adults appeared to have evacuated and stated that no one else was inside.
A quick knockdown and search of the structure found no other occupants.
There were no firefighter injuries reported and one adult occupant was medically assessed on scene and not transported.
The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation at this time. The Red Cross responded and assisted one adult residence.
