LAS VEGAS -- Tony Richardson was arrested on October 21 by the LVMPD Criminal Apprehension Team for an outstanding arrest warrant for the August 11 murder of Stacey Randolph which occurred in the 1700 Block of North J Street.
Metro Police have been searching for a suspect in the death of a man found Sunday night with a gunshot wound to the chest.
On August 11, 2013 at approximately 10:47 p.m., Metro Patrol Officers responded to 1700 block of North J Street to investigate reports of a male who had been shot.
When police arrived they found Randolph, 45, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect was described as a black male adult in his early 20s, standing approximately 5-foot-9-inches to 5-foot-10 tall and weighing approximately 250 to 300 pounds.
Richardson has been arrested for one count of first degree murder with a deadly weapon and prohibited person in possession of a firearm in connection with the August 11 murder of Randolf.
This is the 64th homicide investigation of the year within Metro’s jurisdiction. This investigation remains ongoing.
