Law enforcement officers are fanning out over the valley to handle multiple accidents, all of which occurred between 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and several of which are clogging major arteries.

About 10 a.m., there was a two-car accident on northbound Interstate 15 at the 95 South exit. One car rolled over and hit another car, and the 95 South exit ramp is blocked, according to Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Jeremie Elliot.

At approximately 10:30 a.m., the NHP responded to two separate accidents on southbound Interstate 15 at the 215 Beltway eastbound exit. In one accident, a van rolled over, and in the other, a pick-up truck also rolled over.

Also around 10:30 a.m., there was a six-car accident involving a flat-bed truck at the 215 Beltway and the southbound Las Vegas Boulevard exit.

Some injuries were reported at the three accident sites, but none are considered life threatening, Elliot said.

Traffic is heavy near the accidents and motorists are encouraged to avoid all three areas. With multiple accidents on different parts of the valley, it could take a longer than normal for Nevada Highway Patrol and tow operators to clear the roadways, Elliot said.

Metro Police responded to an accident in which an SUV hit a curb and rolled into a ditch just after 11 a.m.

At 11:18 p.m., police received a report that an SUV hit a curb and rolled into a ditch on the northeast corner of Bermuda Road and Sartoli Avenue, near Windmill Lane, Officer Laura Meltzer said.

No other vehicles were involved, and the SUV’s driver managed to get out of the vehicle unassisted. The driver does not appear to have life-threatening injuries, Meltzer said.
