LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3) -- The man who pleaded guilty to kidnapping three Ohio women and holding them captive inside what a lot of people consider a 'house of horrors' was sentenced to life plus 1,000 years.

This happened in Cleveland, but we know predators can be found in every city.

Ariel Castro agreed to a plea deal to avoid the death penalty and was sentenced today in a Cleveland courtroom.

He's never getting out. Castro was sentenced to life plus one-thousand years.

This happened in Cleveland but we know predators can be found in every city.

Hundreds of children go missing every year in Nevada. Some are runaways, others parent abductions and some are kidnappings.

Last year the non-profit Nevada Child Seekers recorded 308 open cases of missing children in the state.

Sonia Lucero with the Nevada child seekers says her organization has been involved in searching for Everlyse Cabrera who went missing in 2006.

"We're trying to keep our spirits lifted, but we don't want the community in any way to forget about her being missing," Lucero said.
