BUNKERVILLE (KSNV — The Bureau of Land Management has said that it has dismantled the “First Amendment Zone” for protesters involved in the support of a rancher at odds with the government agency.

“In response to concerns raised about the location of areas designated for assembly, the public will be allowed to congregate on public lands as long as they are not in the closure areas, impeding the operation or jeopardizing the safety of the public or employees,” according to an email from the BLM office.

Rancher Cliven Bundy has been fighting a roundup of cattle by the BLM that he claims have historical grazing rights northeast of Las Vegas.

More than 350 cattle have been confiscated so far by the BLM.
