LAS VEGAS (KSNV – Henderson native Chasen Bradford has been promoted to the Las Vegas 51s from the New York Mets’ Double-A affiliate Binghamton.

Bradford, a right-hander, is 1-2 with a 2.03 ERA in 23 games this season with 11 saves, which ranks third in the Eastern League. A graduate of Silverado High School, Bradford was named First-Team All-Southern Nevada and second-team all-state selection as a senior in 2007.

Bradford takes the roster spot of RHP Jeff Walter, who is headed to the disabled list after suffering a torn ulnar collateral ligament.
