Indictment issued involving Vegas vehicle title fraud

LAS VEGAS (KSNV – The Clark County grand jury indicted a woman accused of operating a vehicle registration service involved in title fraud.

Ana Carolina Ojeda, 43, of Las Vegas – also known as Ana Carolina Valadez -- is facing nine felony counts of forgery; three counts each of offering a false instrument for filing or recording, and establishing or possessing a financial forgery laboratory; two counts each of obtaining and using personal identifying information or another for an unlawful purpose; and two gross misdemeanor counts of unlawful possession of property of a notary public.
Ojeda, the owner of DMV Cervicio Express in Las Vegas, was arrested Oct. 24 at the Sahara DMV office.

Her bail was set at $20,000, and her next court appearance is set for 8:15 a.m. Jan. 14 in District Court 17.

Also indicted today was Nicholas Marsh, 31, who faces five counts each of burglary and grand larceny; three counts of conspiracy to commit burglary; and one count of conspiracy to commit grand larceny. His bail was set at $40,000, and Marsh will return to court at 8:15 a.m. Dec. 19.
