LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) –
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is searching for information on a shooting Monday night near Martin Luther King and Owens.
According to a Metro news release, LVMPD patrol officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of Ivy Lane to investigate numerous reports of multiple shots being fired.
Arriving officers located a male victim just outside the front door of a residence suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to UMC Trauma with what appeared to be a life-threatening injury.
Officers later learned that a second adult male fled from the scene and arrived at the UMC Trauma Center also suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The male was treated for a non-life threatening injury.
A preliminary investigation initiated by the LVMPD Homicide Section indicates the two injured males were with a group of people inside the residence on Ivy when an unknown suspect or suspects fired several shots into the home.
As of this release no suspects have been identified.
