LAS VEGAS (KSNV -- The latest scam could be flying across the country and into local mail boxes -- fake travel vouchers.

In this Rip-Off Alert, the scam may take some victims on an unwanted trip.

The vouchers look legitimate, and over busy travel seasons, they may be a tempting treat.

While they have an airline name, airlines tell the Better Business Bureau they do not send vouchers and are not affiliated with these mailings.

Recipients are asked to call and redeem the voucher in exchange for personal information. Remember: Do not give out your credit or bank information to pay for winnings.

A true sweepstakes doesn't require a winner to pay fees.
