LAS VEGAS (KSNV – A man who is a suspect in a homicide in March was indicted by a Clark County grand jury on several counts of armed robbery over a four-month span in Chinatown.

Quincy Taylor, 25, faces seven counts of robbery with use of a deadly weapon, one count of robbery with use of a deadly weapon of a victim 60 or older, one count of attempted robbery with use of a deadly weapon, and one count of robbery with use of a deadly weapon of a victim 60 or older.

Prosecutors say Taylor held a gun to many of the victims’ heads and demanded money. Masks were used in several instances, including one involving a skeleton-type covering.

He has been called the Chinatown bandit.

Police say he waits in parking lots for victims then holds a gun to victims' heads. Police say he did this while wearing either a ski mask, or a "skull" mask that was part of a hoodie. Often he took off on a bike, according to the police report.

The robbery spree allegedly started last December and went through march at different places in the chinatown area.

While in court, prosecutors were very adamant that bail be set high, citing the "violent nature of the incident" judge nancy baker heard their plea and set bond at half a million dollars.

Last march, in another case, taylor was arrested for allegedly killing a man in a stabbing. He's currently in jail.

Judge Nancy Baker set bail at $500,000. Taylor’s next hearing is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. July 24.

Taylor also is scheduled for court Thursday. He is a suspect in the stabbing death of Jeffrey Colicci on March 19 in the 3600 block of South Arville Street.
