Conservation Green Burial buries people in a way that helps protect and preserve the land.

Traditional embalming chemicals are not used and burial vaults are not allowed.

"Each grave will be identified with a pin that gives the number of the grave and then at the edge of the tree line will be a place where plaques will be put with names, year of birth, year of death and the grave location they are buried in," said cemetery owner Dan Appenzeller.

Loved ones must also be buried in biodegradable clothing and caskets.
