LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3) -- Aaron “Wheelz” Fotheringham is a 22-year-old wheelchair moto-cross athlete from Las Vegas, Nevada. Aaron was born with Spina Bifida, a birth defect of the spinal cord, which resulted in him having no usage of his legs.

Fotheringham is asking for the public's help following the theft of his modified wheelchair.

It was stolen stolen after he took his eyes off it for just a couple of minutes.

This isn't just any wheelchair but a special one matched for an incredibly unique individual who's faced more challenges than most of us, and has come out on the very top.

Fatheringham is an inspiration to anyone who wants to overcome the "I cant's" in their life.

This week, all it took was a couple minutes for the backbone of not only his mobility -- but also his career -- to be taken from him.
