LAS VEGAS (KSNV My News 3) -- A body was found near the Hollywood Regional Park Wednesday evening, according to the Metro watch commander.

The body was located near East Charleston and South Hollywood Boulevards in a mountain area near the regional park.

The watch commander said a jogger found the body around 7 p.m. Homicide is investigating, but since the body is in an inaccessible area they will need to continue the investigation in the morning.

The identity of the body will be released by the Clark County coroner’s office after the person’s family has been notified.
