Milwaukee, WI ( - The St. Louis Cardinals activated pitcher Michael Wacha from the 60-day disabled list to start Thursday's game against the Milwaukee Brewers.

The Cardinals also purchased the contract of first baseman Xavier Scruggs from Triple-A Memphis and transferred outfielder Shane Robinson to the 60-day disabled list.
