LAS VEGAS -- The Clark Country Commissioners honored an inspirational Little Leaguer.
The Clark County Commission recognized local little league baseball all-star Daniel Allen and his friends and family during the regular board meeting on Tuesday.
When Allen was 3 years old, he was diagnosed as Autistic and his parents were told that he would face many challenges during his life, including never playing team sports.
However, thanks to the support from his family, teachers and coaches, Allen, now 11, has found success at school and on the playing field.
After a stellar season on the baseball field, Allen was made a member of the Paseo Verde Green All-Star baseball team. And at school, he was recently voted “most friendly” by his classmates.
