LAS VEGAS (KSNV — The Clark County Black Caucus hosted a debate Saturday afternoon between the candidates vying to become the next Metro sheriff.

Eight candidates appeared at the two-hour event at Ebenezer Church of God in Christ in Las Vegas.

The caucus put this debate on in order to get answers on how these candidates will address several issues they face, including officer-involved shootings and racial profiling.

The Clark County Black Caucus says it should announce its endorsement by the first week of May.
