Coroner IDs woman killed when she rear-ended truck

LAS VEGAS (KSNV -- The Clark County coroner has identified the woman killed early Sunday when her car hit the rear-end of a Republic Services truck that was stopped at a red light.

Henderson resident Lindsey Lewis, 29, was killed at Seven Hills Drive and St. Rose Parkway in Henderson about 12:30 a.m.

The coroner said the cause and manner of death is pending an autopsy.

Henderson public information officer Kathleen Richards said Lewis was headed eastbound on St. Rose and hit the rear end of a truck that was stopped for a red light at Seven Hills.

The truck driver was not injured and Lewis was alone.
