LAS VEGAS (KSNV -- Five trucks were damaged or destroyed Sunday morning in a truck yard fire on the west side of the valley.

Clark County firefighters responded just before 9:30 a.m. to a fire at Penske Trucking in the 4700 block of West Hacienda Avenue.

"They arrived to find two semis on fire," Deputy Chief John Steinbeck told News 3. "It eventually involved two semis, two box trucks and a trailer. One of the problems was a fuel tank that was breached and they had to lay down a lot of foam to keep the fire from spreading."

There were no injuries in the fire that was battled by nearly 40 firefighters.

The loss damage was estimated at $400,000, Steinbeck said.
