City of Las Vegas Safekey registration now open

Registration for Safekey for the 2014-15 school year is now open.

Safekey is a before- and after-school recreational enrichment program offered at 67 CCSD elementary schools within the city of Las Vegas. Participants can look forward to another fun and exciting school year filled with CATCH Kids Club activities, reading challenges, physical activities, games, crafts, theme weeks, contests, homework assistance, nutritious snacks and more.

To register:

Step 1: Submit a Participant Information Form for your household to the Safekey Office at 416 N. Seventh St. (between Bonanza Road and Mesquite Avenue), at a Safekey School site, or at a city of Las Vegas-sponsored back to school event.

Step 2: To register and pay, use one of the following options:

-- Online here.
-- In person at a community center.
-- By phone at (702) 229-3399.

Financial assistance may be available for qualifying participants who live within the city of Las Vegas boundaries. The Safekey Office is open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.
