LAKE MEAD NATIONAL RECREATION AREA (KSNV ) -- Metro's Search & Rescue dive team has been called in to assist in the search for a man missing at Willow Beach in Lake Mohave.

Lake Mead Public Affairs Officer Christie Vanover emailed News 3 that a man reportedly jumped off a boat to go swimming about 11:45 a.m. Sunday and was last seen going under water. He was not wearing a life jacket.

National Park Service Rangers spent Sunday afternoon searching for the man and late in the afternoon requested Metro's dive team to assist with search efforts.

Willow Beach is on the Arizona side of Lake Mohave several miles south of Hoover Dam.
