HENDERSON (KSNV MyNews3.com) -- A man threatened for more than an hour to jump off a U.S. 95 bridge at College Drive this afternoon before police took him into custody.
"We got him into custody about 5 p.m.," Nevada Highway Patrol Sgt. Loy Hixson told News 3. "The roads should be opened up about 5:30 p.m. or so."
Traffic had been diverted off U.S. 95 at Wagon Wheel and Horizon while traffic on College Drive also had been stopped.
Hixson said the man would be taken for a medical evaluation.
There were no injuries.
