BOULDER CITY, Nev. – National Park Service rangers are searching for an adult male who was last seen swimming north of Callville Bay Marina on Lake Mead Tuesday morning.

There are currently three active search and rescues happening within Lake Mead National Recreation Area.

At 11:52 a.m., the Lake Mead Interagency Communication Center received a call reporting that the victim jumped from a houseboat to swim to shore with others. He has not been seen since.

National Park Service rangers and officers from Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Search and Rescue are searching the area. Witnesses are uncertain whether the victim was wearing a life jacket.

The search continues for a 53-year-old Las Vegas man who was reported missing at 11:43 a.m. July 20 south of Willow Beach on Lake Mohave. He reportedly jumped off of a boat to go swimming and was seen going underwater. Rangers are also searching for a 25-year-old Las Vegas man who was reported missing at 2:21 p.m. July 20. He was reportedly swimming from a boat when he was seen going underwater near the Boulder Islands on Lake Mead.

In both cases, the victims were not wearing life jackets.

Earlier in the day, rangers and other first responders rescued a juvenile female near Placer Cove. She reportedly fell from standing height and was unable to walk. Metro Air evacuated her from the area. She was then transported to a Las Vegas hospital by Community Ambulance.

All incidents are under investigation.
