Police arrest man at grow house near Jones and So. Beltway

LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3) -- According to Metro Lt. Laz Chavez, a warrant was served at a suspected marijuana grow house near Sobb Avenue and Westwind Road.

On a tip from a citizen, police served the search warrant around 6 p.m. near the intersection of Jones Boulevard and W. Patrick Lane near the southern beltway.

Police arrested 39-year-old Joshua Joslyn on three felony charges, including possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm, and illegal production of marijuana.

Police confiscated 157 plants and one pound of freshly harvested, ready-for-sale marijuana. Police also found one shotgun inside the home.

According to police, three rooms were converted into a grow operation inside the home.
