Police release photo, look for answers in woman's death

LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3) -- The Clark County Coroner says the woman found dead on a street near a school on the east side early Saturday is 34-year old Maricela Faurrieta.

Police are now looking for help in gathering information surrounding her death.

According to Metro, Faurrieta had gone out the evening of July 18 with a male described as her boyfriend.

A photo of Faurrieta and this unidentified male has been released to the public and police are asking for help identifying the man in the photo.

Detectives are looking for information about the identity and location of the unidentified male as well as information about who may have taken the photo.

Detectives are also seeking information about the whereabouts of the couple on the evening of July 18 into the early morning hours of July 19.

A passerby called Metro about 5:50 a.m. after seeking a woman's body at Fairchild Street and East Washington Avenue across from Brookman School.
