LAS VEGAS (KSNV -- Metro's SWAT unit has arrested a man who was exhibiting "very erratic" behavior in a residential area near West Lake Mead and North Rampart Boulevard early today.

The man was arrested about 11:30 a.m. on Secret Harbor Court in the Desert Shores subdivision, according to News 3 reporter Krystal Allan.

The call to Metro came in shortly after 6:30 a.m. by a person who reported a man acting strange near Mariner and Regatta, according to Metro Officer Laura Meltzer.

"He was running into the walls of residences, got onto the roof of one and took his clothes off at one point and then put them back on," Meltzer told News 3. "He appears to be armed with a knife of some sort and is just acting very erratic."

There were reports that the man was throwing rocks and roof tiles at officers and had attacked one of them.
