LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3)-- We have been following the Petrosky's ordeal as they fight to evict squatters and get their home.

A week after the eviction was served they were back in court and they said it's because the squatter is suing them.

Jerry and Sheilah Petrosky called into court the man they say squatted in their house for months now suing them.

They geared up for a legal battle but the squatter didn't show up

So it continues.

For those unfamiliar with this story here is a bit of background.

The Petrosky's own a home which they are selling on short sale.

When Jerry Petrosky went to check on the property he was greeted by three people that claimed they were renting the place.

They had a lease but that lease wasn't real.

However, because of the way the law is set up in Nevada there is no way to immediately get them out of the house.

It took months to evict them and now they are back in court.

The squatter suing them for his possessions didn't show up.

The judge said she was shocked and so were the Petroskys and now they wait to see if the man they say lived in their home illegally pays up and picks up his stuff.
