LAS VEGAS (Las Vegas Sun) -- A pregnant woman was stabbed to death after an argument inside an apartment in the northwest Las Vegas Valley.

The victim, who was nine months pregnant, was discovered about 6 p.m. Wednesday inside the back bedroom of the apartment in the 2800 block of North Rancho Drive, near Decatur Boulevard, Metro Police said.

Her alleged attacker, Elinor Indico, 30, was still inside the home suffering from stab wounds when police arrived. Indico was taken to University Medical Center, where she remains hospitalized.

Indico faces one count of open murder and one count of voluntary manslaughter in connection with the death of the pregnant woman and her unborn child.
