Suspect in robbery and sexual assault attempt sought

LAS VEGAS -- Las Vegas Metro police have released a composite sketch of a man wanted for attempting to sexually assaulting a victim on Sept. 19 while robbing a business.

Metro patrol officers responded to reports of a robbery to a business located in the 800 block of South Rancho Drive at approximately 11:15 p.m. on Sept. 19.

The suspect entered the front door of the business, approached the victim, and threatened her with a knife. The suspect demanded money, forced the victim into a hallway, and then attempted to sexually assault the victim.

The suspect is described as a black male adult, 20 to 30 years of age, standing between 5-foot-8-inches and 5-foot-10-inches tall and weighing approximately 160 to 180 pounds. He was described as being bald or having very short dark hair. The suspect was last seen wearing a black tee shirt and blue jeans.
