Teen found mentally incompetent to stand trial for murdering brother

LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3) -- A teenage boy charged with killing his own brother has been found mentally incompetent to stand trial, at least for now.

Turner Craig Bronson, 16, faces a charge of murder with a deadly weapon in the death of Clayton Bronson, 18, who was days away from graduation from Sierra Vista High School.

Clayton was shot in the stomach and side of the head in May at their home onArcadia Bluff Court, near Buffalo and Robindale.

Turner Bronson was not in court Friday.

According to the court's information officer, he's headed to Lakes Crossing Psychiatric Hospital in Sparks, Nev. for an indefinite amount of time.

According to the police, Bronson shot his brother in the stomach and head at point blank range in front of his mother the night of May 22.

His brother, Clayton, would have graduated from high school this year.
