LAS VEGAS – The Nevada Department of Transportation will implement traffic restrictions Saturday night and Sunday morning for graffiti abatement projects on I-15 and U.S. 95.

The NDOT says to expect delays in the impacted areas, consider alternate routes and adhere to all traffic control devices.

On Saturday from 8 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., the I-15 southbound on-ramps from Lake Mead Boulevard will be closed, as will the two right lanes on I-15 southbound from Lake Mead Boulevard to Washington Avenue, in order to remove graffiti from an overhead sign and install graffiti prevention guards.

Also, on Saturday, starting at 11:30 p.m. and ending on Sunday at 1:30 a.m., the U.S. 95 southbound on-ramp from Rainbow Boulevard will be closed for graffiti abatement on an overhead sign; crews will also take measurements of the sign for the future installation of a graffiti prevention guard.

On Sunday from 1:30 a.m. to 4 a.m., the I-15 northbound on-ramp from eastbound and westbound Cheyenne Avenue will be closed, as will the right lane on I-15 northbound, for graffiti abatement on an overhead sign.
