LAS VEGAS -- The 51s defeated the Zephyrs, 8-7 in 11 innings, in game two of the four-game series before a “Fireworks Night” crowd of 7,586 at Cashman Field.

Second baseman Daniel Muno (3-for-6) delivered a walk-off RBI single to center field with one out in the 11th inning for the victory.

Shortstop Matt Reynolds was 4-for-4, HBP, walk, double, two runs scored for Las Vegas.

Las Vegas right-hander Noah Syndergaard pitched 6 innings in the no decision. He allowed 8 hits, 6 runs (5 earned), walked 1 and struck out 8 on 102 pitches (67 strikes).

New Orleans scored five runs in the first inning and Las Vegas later rallied to take the lead 6-5 after five innings.

Game three of the series is Saturday at 7:05 p.m. on 51s Pinstripe Jersey (Mets Style)/Fan Appreciation Night.
