Brown withdraws name to take over Water Authority

LAS VEGAS (KSNV – Clark County Commissioner Larry Brown said this afternoon that he has withdrawn his name from consideration to become the new general manager for the Las Vegas Valley Water District and the Southern Nevada Water Authority.

Pat Mulroy, the district’s general manager since 1989, announced her retirement last year. Her second-in-command, John Entsminger, is expected to replace her.
