Coroner releases IDs of victims in 2 Vegas-area accidents

LAS VEGAS (KSNV – The Clark County coroner’s office has released the names of two victims killed in separate accidents Thursday night.

Bella Pascual, 81, of Las Vegas was killed just before 6:15 p.m. when she attempted to cross Fort Apache Road near Tompkins Avenue outside of a crosswalk. She was struck by a 2000 Chevrolet Impala that was traveling northbound in the middle travel lane of Fort Apache Road.

It is the 84th traffic-related fatality in Metro’s jurisdiction for 2013. The collision remains under investigation by the LVMPD Accident Investigations Section.

Savannah McInnis, 17, of North Las Vegas was killed when the vehicle she was riding in south on Coleman Street was hit around 9:45 p.m. by a 2000 Dodge Dakota traveling west on Ann Road.

The Dodge truck struck the Chrysler's driver's side, killing McInnis and injuring her 2-year-old son and her grandparents, who are in their 70s.
