Sterling Ellis of Houston caught a 759-pound blue marlin about 15 miles off of Kewalo Basin. He traveled to Hawaii as part of the Make-A-Wish program.

"I was reeling it, and then I saw this big black fin and it just started going the opposite direction taking all my line back," Ellis said. "My arm hurt a little bit, and he's like 'just keep reeling' and I'm like, 'I don't think I can!'"
