Metro says suspect arrested in Bellagio Casino robbery

LAS VEGAS (KSNV — Metro detectives have made an arrest in the Bellagio robbery.

According to a Metro news release, officers responded around 11:30 p.m. Friday to the 4400 block of Paradise Road to investigate reports of a suspicious male who checked into a hotel.

Arriving officers conducted a preliminary investigation and determined the male was involved in the Bellagio robbery. Detectives were subsequently called to the scene where they assumed the investigation. The suspect was later taken into custody with assistance from the LVMPD SWAT team.

The suspect was transported to the Clark County Detention Center. He was booked as John Doe on charges of robbery with use of a deadly weapon and burglary with use of a deadly weapon.

At this time, detectives have determined that Jesse Jones is no longer a person of interest in this incident.
