LAS VEGAS (KSNV — A local woman speaks out about a sexual assault suspect police say is armed and dangerous.

The assault happened at a gas station on Durango near the 215.

The woman, who works at a nearby Jack in the Box, says the man was a frequent customer.

“Kat” was shocked when News 3 showed her surveillance video of the suspect. She describes the 20-year-old as a good kid and says he spent time with family of her not long ago.

The surveillance video is from the Short Line Express Market on Durango and the 215. Detectives say the suspect pulled a gun on a woman pumping gas, forced her into her car and sexually assaulted her.

“Kat” had this message for the suspect: "Turn yourself in. Get help. Your friends care for you. Turn yourself in be a good person."

Anyone else who might have information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555.
