NORTH LAS VEGAS (KSNV — Two-hundred people filled North Las Vegas City Hall on Monday night to talk about the deportation of undocumented immigrants in Nevada.

U.S. Rep. Steven Horsford, D-Nev., was joined by U.S. Reps. Luis Gutierrez, D-Ill., and Ruben Hinojosa, D-Texas, at the forum.

The immigration issue is one some people fear has lost the attention and momentum it once had.

The Congressmen say what they've heard here will be presented to the Secretary of Homeland Security to stop what they call a record number of deportations. Officials with Immigration and Customs Enforcement says that's because agents are focused more on catching undocumented criminals.
