LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) – NV Energy customers could see another rate hike if the Public Utilities Commission gives the company the green light to raise rates.
Residents gathered tonight at PUC near Diablo and the 215 to share their concerns.
PUC conducts a general consumer session once a year; there was an afternoon session today, and one set for this evening.
NV Energy has already filed its request. If approved by PUC, the new rate would go into effect in January. The hike would amount to an average monthly increase of about $4 on an energy bill.
